The Comox Valley grows and catches an unusual amount of what it eats, and Locals is the restaurant that has made a point of it since 2008: the menu credits the farms and boats by name, the cooking is confident and unfussy, and the house it occupies beside the river is a pleasant place to spend an evening.

It sits a short walk from the Old House Hotel and is the obvious dinner for anyone using the valley as a base for Campbell River or the mountain.
